I started decorating cakes as a hobby in 1995 by taking Community Education classes.  After some remodeling and inspections, Dee's Specialty Cakes opened as a licensed kitchen out of my home in 1999. I continue to challenge myself learning new techniques, most recent being gumpaste flowers.

Hours by Appointment

Please call to schedule an appointment. While I would love to provide cakes to everyone, there just aren't enough hours in the day.  Availability is limited so reserve your date early.   Orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance.  From Easter to Thanksgiving, cakes may be picked up Monday - Saturday.  Sunday's are open year round for weddings only and cake pick up during prime graduation season - mid May through the end of June.  The bakery is closed on Sunday and Monday from Thanksgiving to Easter.

Service Area

Dee's Specialty Cakes is located in Stevensville, Michigan.  I deliver primarily to Berrien County Michigan, however, if time and availability allows, I can deliver to further destinations. Other cities I have delivered to include Michigan City and South Bend, Indiana, Paw Paw, South Haven, Kalamazoo, and Lansing, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois.  Reservations for long distance deliveries must be made well in advance.
